Indonesian brown amber is a 23–30 million-year-old fossilized resin, primarily sourced from Sumatra and Borneo coal deposits. Often featuring rich red-brown or cognac tones, it is sometimes found with high-value, rare blue fluorescence under UV light. It is generally softer than Baltic amber and frequently found in natural, untreated, "leopard spot" forms.
